Lots of troubles. D: I like your drawing style and stuff, but it's gonna bring up a bunch of debate. This seems more like a comedy than the horror and suspense of Death Note. Not that that's a bad thing, but it seems like you're going for a more serious theme. Or what do I know?
Anyways, nobody knows who Kira is except the remaining members of the Japanese Task Force back then, Near (Who takes L's place afterwards), and the SPK (whom disbanded after the case). If the case is being revived due to another Kira, then yes, they would most likely make the SPK again. Or something like that. But there is no way that Matsuda would be chosen to join the SPK. He's not bright enough and would probably still be with the Japanese Task Force. That, and he'd be really old by now. At least 45 years old. And why are they walking around with they nametags that say who they are. That's not gonna happen. And N (who should be L, but in this comic's case, Ryuzaki has a son, which I find very creative) would never go out in the field just like that. It's just not Near's way of doing things.
They actually told the survivors of the Yagami family that Soichiro and Light gave their lives to stop Kira. So I doubt they're gonna put "Here lies Light Yagami BKA Kira" on his grave. Also, nobody knew who the original L was or if there's actually more than one of him. Though it is funny to have an L statue keeping an eye on Kira after death, it just isn't gonna happen.
Sorry if I seem like a bitch or something, but that's just how it is. I don't mean to insult your comic idea or anything like that, not at all. D: It's just that you have to be very specific about the time of Death Note and the Kira case. Or else you get fangirls like me biting at your heels. lolz
Not at all No I understand your comment to the fullest and you're actually right. I didn't finish Death Note until Page 7 of Arc 1. But please keep in mind, I did not make this out to be a more serious doujin, I made it for fun and the fun of thinking "what if" situations. So, I must implore you not to take this a serious interpretation of the Death Note series, just think of it as a very bored fan who wanted the story to go on. ^^
